The open laboratories are located on the third floor of Section A of the Research & Develop-ment Center , with a usable floor space of 1600 square meters and total investment of RMB 20 million Yuan. They include genetic engineering laboratory, cell culture laboratory, molecular biochemistry laboratory, protein purification laboratory, phytochemistry laboratory, synthetic chemistry laboratory, precision instrument laboratory and analyzing instrument laboratory. These laboratories are equipped with a series of versatile, advanced and well functional science instruments and equipments, including high performance liquid chromatography, fermenter, gel imaging system, protein purification system, high speed refrigerated centrifuge, instrument for polymerase chain reaction and ELIASA, etc., which are used for basic research work, such as genetic engineering, protein purification, cell culture and germiculture. These open laboratories serve as public technology platforms that can provide open and public services and reduce repeatedly purchased and idle experimental apparatuses & equipments to save initial funds of innovation enterprises.
