We give prominence to the development concept of ¡°vigorously developing five key fields, first determining eight industrial development orientations and building up five-level industrial promotion platforms¡±. The key fields include technology field of biological medicine ( genome medicine), technology field of marine organisms, modern technology field of Chinese traditional medicine and technology field of biomaterials. The eight industrial development orientations include genetic medicine & bacterin, biochip, reagent kit, animal medicine, marine medicine, marine functional food, modernization of Chinese traditional medicine, drink tablet of Chinese traditional medicine, and medical biomaterial & medical apparatus.
